One of the most successful paintings I did this semester. Although what I wanted to convey in this painting failed. There was too much elements.....

its still good

I wanted to combine mechanics, human, and animals all together. Nobody could see my butterfly, even though I put on a couple of layers of matte medium over it. Since I painted with a pallet knife, the matte medium did not work.

What a waste of money. 

I HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT...

black background works well for me

and the use of

thick paint.
